Karen Bailey, Director of Customer Care & Performance

Karen Bailey Joined BSO in 2010 as Director of Customer Care & Performance and is responsible for strategy, planning and negotiating Service-Level Agreements with BSO customers. A particular focus is on benchmarking and quality initiatives to maintain and constantly improve the services BSO offers.

In 2012 IT services were added to her portfolio which provides digital services such as regional data centres, a NI-wide area network, operational services for over 40 regional IT systems and Programme/Project delivery for clinical and business systems across health.

She was educated at Queen’s University Belfast, where she followed a Joint Honours degree with a Masters in Computer Science and an MBA. Prior to joining BSO she held a variety of roles beginning as an Assistant Director of Finance & IT in Down Lisburn and moved into roles in innovation and service improvement e.g. Service delivery Unit.
